About
We live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. And North Conway, New Hampshire. Loveland, Colorado. Bozeman, Montana. Mount Shasta, California, and Bird Creek, Alaska.
We see the mountains daily and play in them as much as possible. We live in small communities of athletes, artists, professionals, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, servers, mothers, fathers and skids.
What we share: a deep love for the places we call home.
The Mountain Murmur blog celebrates the community mountain town dwellers create and the lifestyle we cherish so much. We’ll toil at waiting tables, running chairlifts, scrubbing toilets, changing diapers and tapping away at a keyboard so we can afford to stay (and play) at the foot of the Tetons, the Appalachians, the Sierras and Chugach.
This blog is the brainchild of the tireless workers and adventurers at Cloudveil, based in Jackson. This is our way of opening up a dialogue about what it means to live in a place surrounded by natural wonders, where we are inspired to push ourselves to new heights, and where we enjoy some of the best skiing, climbing, biking and river running in the world.
Here, we celebrate the good life. Check out The Mountain Murmur for opinions, outings, issues, adventures and struggles of maintaining a residence in our valley and valleys like ours.
Read, comment, contribute and most importantly, get out there and enjoy. We do!
